"Yeezy Yeezy Yeezy just jumped over jumpman! Kanye West dropped 'FACTS', a week ago and we've had some time to digest it. It's obviously a spin-off of Drake and Future's 'Jumpman.' It sounds like a diss track, but the victim is Nike.
"If Nike ain't have Drizzy, man they would have nothin/ If Nike ain't have Don C., man they would have nothin," he continued. "Yeezy Yeezy Yeezy they line up for days/ Nike out here bad they can't give shit away...Nike, Nike treat employees just like slaves/ Gave LeBron a billi' not to run away."
History proves that Kanye has a style and attitude all his own, but in this track he reverts to the ever popular Future-esque flow. It sounds like he's proving that he can take someone's style and make it better.
Last night on the People's Choice Awards, stage crasher and wannabe Kanye rapper, ZacZeta shouted out the FACTS track along with Kevin Gates' new album during an acceptance speech given by members of the daytime talk show, 'The Talk.'
Big Sean, who is signed to Kanye's label, "G.O.O.D. MUSIC," has amassed 2.5 million plays on soundcloud for his new track featuring Pharrell Williams and Detail, 'What A Year,". Big Sean is on the cusp of being one of today's best lyricists with a nonchalant flow.
Be sure to give LOGIC and the Visionary Music Group a good listen. Logic's voice sounds hard, but his message is intellectually stimulating. He's not your every day gangster rapper.
